The Role of the Security Analyst
A security analyst is a key member of the cyber security team, working alongside managers and the CISO to analyze the efficacy of a company's security system and network. An analyst sifts through data to find any suspicious activity, flaws in the system, or places that could lead to potential security breaches. When analysis reveals any weak spots, flaws, or current breaches, an analyst works alongside the team to develop solutions—sometimes immediately, when breaches are revealed. An analyst is also responsible for identifying suspicious activity and helping to train the rest of the staff to understand what cyber threats look like, how to respond to them, and how to prevent them in the first place. Blackhawk Staffing pulls on some of Tampa Bay's top security analysts in order to provide Tampa Bay businesses with high-quality talent who will keep their security systems running smoothly and effectively, protecting against even the biggest cyber threats.
